In June 1999, mother and daughter Anne and Angela Beck opened Frisck. Their love of fashion inspired Frisck, a boutique with all the labels they were passionate about. North Carlton was the perfect destination with it's close community feel and it's tree lined streets creating the perfect picturesque shopping village. And so Frisck was born.
Since the beginning Anne and Angela's philosophy has never waivered. They wanted to create a space that was warm and welcoming to everyone, a place that was calm and relaxed so the shopping experience was pleasurable. They aimed to provide the best service and advice possible and to spend quality time with each customer so that when they left they were completely satisfied and felt uplifted and special. Their personal touch has been rewarded over the years, building up a very loyal clientele and making many friends.
Frisck continues to promote the very best Australian and New Zealand designer labels. They continue to evolve each season introducing new talented designers to their impressive stable. They keep a step ahead at all times assuring their customers that what ever the latest and greatest, they will endeavour to get it for them.
Frisck has been highly praised by the Australian press and media. They have regularly appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Shop till you drop, B&W Mode and Oyster. They are a favourite with Melbourne newspapers The Age and The Herald Sun. They have had the honour of being selected as a destination boutique in the International publication 'Where to Wear' shopping guide, which is produced for many countries around the world. Such is their reputation as a fashion fixture in Melbourne, they were included in the very exclusive 'Melbourne Design Guide'. Over the years they have dressed many television personalities for events and occasions, and regularly provide clothes to popular hosts of Melbourne produced shows.
